What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates. The sessions place emphasis on controlled and optimal movement patterns, posture and improved strength and flexibility with focus primarily on core strength.
It is a low intensity form of exercise which makes it suitable for a wide variety of populations. Pilates also focuses on bringing together mind and body for an all rounded mind, body and spirit experience
Does Pilates really work?
Pilates does work. If your goal entails one or more of the following then Pilates will work for you.

Will Pilates make me lose weight?
Pilates is a popular low-impact exercise. Practicing Pilates can be beneficial for your health and help you maintain a healthy weight. Yet, Pilates may not be as effective for weight loss as other cardio exercises, such as running, swimming or High Intensity Interval Training.
Combine the two methods and see great results.

Tuesday and Thursdays from 17:30 to 18:10.

What should I wear
The sessions take place outdoors. It would be ideal to dress according to the
weather in loose clothing that allows for adequate movement during the
Pilates session.
